Overview
MUG, the International Mentor Graphics Users' Group, was formed in 1983. Its purpose is to provide users of Mentor Graphics products and/or services with:
- A means for the exchange of technical, administrative, and management information
pertaining to the use of these products and/or services;
- Peer access with fellow users, networking, and camaraderie
- Communication and liaison with Mentor Graphics on equipment, programming, maintenance, future enhancements, product direction, and other requirements for the users' application and planning.
MUG is comprised of a Steering Committee, Special Interest Groups, Local Users Groups and a membership body. The organization is governed by bylaws, voted on by the membership body and policies established by the Steering Committee.
MUG membership is available to individuals involved in the use of equipment or software sold or leased by Mentor Graphics Corporation with some restrictions. For more information see the bylaws or Membership Policy. To join MUG, sign up using MUGMEM, the online Membership database.
