Are you a ModelSim user? Renoir and ModelSim provide the best in class integration for design reuse, debug and simulation. Through Dynamic Interactive Simulation, you get the highest possible level of integration that works while both tools are running in real time.

Users can read in existing hdl code with HDL2Graphics and use Renoir as a viewer to get an idea what the design looks like graphically, as well as understand the hierarchy of the entire design. Views such as block diagrams, state machines and flow charts can then be simulated with ModelSim while in the Renoir environment.

Debugging your design is also made much easier and faster with animation in Renoir, and simultaneous cause probing between Renoir and ModelSim. All simulations and animations are done with the ModelSim simulation kernel as well as the ModelSim GUI. The integration is so tight that several ModelSim commands can be executed from within Renoir.
