Abstract

This is a report on the result of exercising various ECAD applications, primarily Mentor Board Design, Simulation, and Design Capture, with the date set forward to January 2000. Honeywell, SASSO, has set up an isolated HP test network hosting the published Year 2000 ready version of most of its ECAD applications. To insure tests do not accidentally call an older version without being detected, only the Year 2000 Ready version has been installed. A total of 51 vendor tool sets have been installed. Design test cases were developed to exercise a majority of the tools.
