This paper addresses the basics of creating a dialog box for Ample functions. It will assume that the audience is familiar and comfortable with the constructs of the Ample programming environment. Although ITK is a very useful tool for the development of basic dialog boxes, many companies are unwilling to spend the monies to purchase ITK. Dialog boxs are intimidating only because of unfamiliar terminology. The concepts are very understandable. This author will look at gadgets and sites and hopefully provide the fundamentals for manually developing dialog boxes.

Bruce has worked in the Electronic CAD/CAM industry for over 18 years. His CAD experience includes ComputerVision's CADDS 1, 3, 4/4X, Incases's Theda and Mentor's BoardStation.
