This product overview will showcase the new snap-on functionality and new features of C.2 IC Station. The presentation of IC Station C.2 Device Level Automation will highlight:

Additionally, the new transistor place and route (TPR) tool is available in Q4, 1998. The placement consists of a row-based placer which creates a placement based on rows of devices with a min-cut/simulated annealing approach. For routing, the router is a N-layer, grid-less area router, physical constraint driven for mixed cells, devices, and shapes.

Bio:
Janet Petersen is a Technical Marketing Engineer for the IC Station Product Team, based in Wilsonville, OR. She has been with Mentor Graphics since 1988 and has held several positions in the Customer Support Division supporting System Management, Falcon Framework, and LMS (Library Management System). Currently, she is responsible for the technical marketing of ICgraph, Device Level Automation, and Transistor Place & Route.

She holds a B.S. in Business Management, minor in Marketing from Concordia University.
