With board speeds topping 100 MHz, and components switching in the sub-nanosecond range, all with increased density, today's designers need a breakthrough methodology for PCB development. Interconnect Synthesis (IS) works directly with your signal quality specifications to create an electrically correct design the first time. IS can verify the signal quality of your routed high speed nets or route the nets for you to meet your electrical AND physical specifications! In this tutorial, you will learn how the ICX products can assist you in analyzing signal quality on your interconnects. You will hear how to specify and analyze crosstalk, overshoot, undershoot, ringback and non- monotonicity. You will also learn how to view the waveforms in the IS Charter window and identify each of these signal quality problems.
