With faster processor edge rates and ever increasing clock speeds, timing verification of high-speed board interconnect becomes critical. Effects due to cross-talk or unbalanced multiple loads make routing verification and optimization a non-trivial task. The Interconnectix (ICX) products provide a unique environment to specify your electrical and timing rules, to verify and optimize a routed design, or even to automatically route a design to electrical and timing constraints. In this tutorial, you will learn how the ICX products can assist you in verifying your interconnect timing. You will also learn how to correlate the timing as measured in the IS Charter window with the timing results reported in the IS Timing Sheet.
