Design Evolution of Heatsinks

This paper presents the strategy Boeing is using in designing, documenting, fabricating, and inspecting heatsinks. The data and/or tooling from Mentor Graphics furnished to the manufacturers and inspectors resulted in reduced costs, shorter delivery, consistent quality and less inspection time for the heatsinks.

Bio:
Emmanuel Galima received his Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering from University of California at Los Angeles in 1980. He joined Boeing in August 1980. He is currently involved in the development of printed circuit boards.
