Managing IC Design Files in a Mixed NT and UNIX Environment

As NT gains acceptance in the IC design marketplace, many shops will face the possibility of supporting designers using Mentor Graphics tools running on both UNIX and NT-based workstations simultaneously. This presentation will address the historical issues and present solutions for Mentor Graphics users in a multiprotocol environment.
Bio:
Dave Hitz is the Co-Founder, Director of System Architecture, Network Appliance,
Inc.
Prior to founding Network Appliance, Dave Hitz worked as a systems
programmer at Auspex, and before that, in a similar position with the
system V kernel group at MIPS Computer. Dave studied at George Washington
University, Swarthmore College, and Deep Springs College and received his
B.S.E. in computer science from Princeton University.
