This presentation shows the different design flows from general system specification to Structured Analysis / Structured Design (SA/SD) HDL Design, Simulation, Synthesis and Implementation to the ASIC Technology.

Bio:
Karl U. Shenk has a diploma in Electronics Engineering from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (Zurich) and has a long career in leading and executing design projects of systems and ASICs for several applications. He is Head of the Division "Consulting & Engineering" of Aspect Technology AG, a Swiss company focusing on ASIC and System design. He designs and gives lessons for industry workshops and training and for students at the local technical university. "After hours" he is an active sports shooter and chess player.
