This presentation will explain how ICView can be used as a valuable tool by the engineering design community, along with all interested parties within the company, to verify past and present designs in progres=05s. The paper will cover the proper setup of a complete file directory along with a file storage format to help support cross-probe between the schematic and the layout.

Bio:
King Payne is the Manager of the Layout Engineering Department for Cherry Semiconductor Corp. in East Greenwich, RI. He joined Cherry Semiconductor in it's infancy to establish a Layout Department in 1973. He became familiar with CAD for IC layout design in 1974 and continues to be involved with it's implementation today.
