Mentor Graphics

What is Mentor Graphics' vision on what the WWW is going to do for the EDA industry? How is Mentor Graphics addressing the opportunities that this medium brings for electronic designers, engineering managers and internal support people? What changes are occurring in the way you can do business with Mentor Graphics and your own customers through electronic commerce?

This paper will show you how to get more productive by using Intra- and Internet- based EDA applications, how you can find the correct information to do your job better and faster, as well as create more innovative design solutions. Managers will get a feel for how to utilize the Intra and Internet to have their designers focus on what they do best, designing, instead of spending large amounts of time learning new tool suites and figuring out how to make multiple applications work smoothly together. CAE support people will get an inside view of how to use the Intra and Internet to manage the different release schedules and updates of their design environment more efficiently. At the same time, CAE support will learn about the inherent dangers of an "everybody downloads the latest version" culture.
