Web technology provides a mechanism for building databases via a platform independent browser, such as Netscape. Using forms and a c-based CGI, TRW Digital Product Center has developed a system for capturing cost, status, and root cause of problems for ASICs and FPGAs. An overview view of that system will be presented, as well as a lessons learned on using forms and CGIs.

Mark is the CAD Manager in TRW Space & Electronics Group's Digital Product Center. Mark joined TRW in 1985, and has been involved with CAD since 1986. He has a BSCS from California Lutheran College.
