What does a net_type property have to do with electrical engineering? Absolutely nothing. Amperage and voltage are what electrial engineers know and work with.

This detailed discussion will explain how AlliedSignal controls trace widths and clearances based on current and voltage requirements. Userware has been in the field for three years allowing engineers to specify voltage, current and other parameters in the schematic and have the widths and clearances driven in layout. Greg will discuss the functionality of this userware and the benefits it has created.

This presentation will be of interest to Engineers, DA users and board designers. The trace width calculating userware will be worth your attendance by itself. Greg is the author of all the ampleware and can answer any questions that you may want to ask concerning functionality.
