With the release of B.1, AMPLE customization has become easier. A few new functions enable the quick addition of menu popup and pulldown items. The former common practice of creating pointers and overloading MGC functions is no longer a necessity. This presentation will highlight a couple of the most popular and common uses of customization.

Janet Petersen is a Software Support Engineer within the Mentor Graphics Customer Support Division for the Falcon Framework Products. She has been with MGC for almost eight years. Previous to supporting AMPLE, CUI, and Design Management, she was in the System Environment group supporting MGLS, BOLD, MGC Install, and network and operating system support for Apollo's Aegis, HP-UX, and SUN O/S.
